That is

Dawter T's head you're looking at. And, yes those are Prima Flowers. My very artistic daughter surprised me one Saturday evening when she asked me to glue a cut-out flower to her headband. The cut-out was quite nice but it's not that colorful! So I thought of these Prima Flowers. Dawter T was quite pleased about it that she wore that headband to our friend's party.

Thea Is Two

I couldn't be more happier these days. I am scrapping Dawter T's birthday photos, woohoo! The challenges I've joined has given me lots of inspiration.

Loved the flowers I made, inspired by Elsie. I saw these flowers from her blog, the pictures were taken during CHA.

Journaling :

It was your 2nd birthday and we had a Sanrio themed party. We gave out Sanrio EZLink plastic holders. Inside it, mommy made a mock EZLink as thank you card. They all liked it!

Good Times

This is for {Create}'s Earth Day challenge. What I reused was an old page from a desk calendar (see 2007 calendar). I really had fun creating this layout as I used Love, Elsie papers once again, Adorn It's stickers/patterned paper and of course, my beloved AC Thickers.
The photo was taken by Bebi A when we brought my relatives to Jurong Bird Park last March 18.

My Party

I've been itchin' to scrap since yesterday but my mommy duties has to come in first. The two girls slept early yesterdat which was a good thing for me because I managed to scrap this Lo using one of Lesli's sketch. I chose the third LO from the first row.

Hopefully, I did justice to it.

Best Buds

What a very productive week! Finished this LO late last night but took a picture of it this morning. Love this picture of Bebi A and Kuya K. The owl fits this LO wonderfully and to think that this photo was taken on our way to Jurong Bird Park made it more meaningful. I used the new Sassafras Lass "Pocket Full of Rosies" papersr. The papers are beautiful and it pains me to cut them up but I have to fulfill their life's purpose hahaha.

Speaking of cutting it up, I finally used my Fiskars Fingertip control craft knife. I was quite nervous at first but you get the hang of it later on. I used the knife to cut the branch hehehe

Sweet Baby

Two in a row of scallopped patterned papers in week. That's what I call an improvement haha Forgive me, but those patterned papers have been with me since last year but only this week did I manage to create something out of it.

So love the blues and browns on this layout. Plus, the Fancy Pants Large Purple Swirl transparency (is that the right term?)

I am hitting 2 birds in one stone here. Finishing this for Lia's Challenge in MWL plus I get to add another layout in Bebi A's album.

Thanks!

Woohoo, found out from Lesli's blog that I won her challenge!

Thanks to Lesli for last week's Challenge Tuesday which was to scraplift one of the three layouts she posted on her blog.

And, thanks to all who voted on the layout!

It really made my day!

Scrappers AT SG is ONE!

Times flies fast and after a year of sourcing venues, sending tons of emails regarding food and prizes, we're finally 1 year old on the 14th!

Scrappers AT SG was founded by Benga and Abiik. From what I remember, they attended a class at MWL, and with the constant prodding of Cute#1 for them to teach her new found stuffs, Benga and Abiik decided to invite friends to share about altered arts (naks!) and scrapbooking. And, so it happened on the 14th of April 2007 at Central Grove function room.

It then became a regular thing as one scrapmeet led to another. Then, we started a blog and yahoogroups to cater for the monthly challenges and group communication.

It was great meeting new people and learning new things about scrapbooking. The amount of photos I have are still many but slowly, with the help of these people who became my friends, I manage to transform them into layouts which I hope my daughters will be proud of later.

Simply Adorable

Using Adobe PSE, I added journaling text on the photo. I experimented by using different fonts on the journal and I love the outcome. This was taken at Vivo City when my MIL was here in Singapore.

I finally get to use this Creative Imaginations pp which honestly, I had a hard time to use. I guess I am a little intimidated of those scallops hahaha But, now I am a happy camper! Imagine, 3 force to reckon with in this LO! Creative Imaginations scallop pp, KI lace and Hambly! I wanted to add more to this LO but when Pre saw this, he said it's enough and very seldom does he say that, thus I heeded!

Journal :

Your life is one big scrapbook for mommy to make. The camera simply loves you, may it be a silly pose, or a serene one. You embellish each picture with a smile, a tounge or your favorite, the "V" sign.

The Little Moments

Don't you just love We R Memory Keepers' Write Out Collection. I love it! And, I am glad now (actually feeling it!) that I bought it (way back)! Haha...

I wanted to scrap this photo of Dawter T for so long but I couldn't find the right materials. This layout is a scraplift from Lesli and my entry to her Challenge Tuesday.

I had a hard time thinking of a title for this layout. I was thinking of something that will go with play since I once again used the MM ribbon labels. But, I felt that there was something more to the photo than just play. I checked out my stash and found the MME Bella "The Little Moments" (Bohemia) die cut. It fit perfectly! Love it as the title!

Journal :

You were just 11 months but you were fast becoming a toddler. Curious about things, your eyes --- full of questions, wanting answers. And, everyday, you slowly understand.

You're growing and each of these little moments are treasured in my heart.

Thoughts to Ponder

I am glad that I have finished my March non-scrap related but life-changing To Do's (until the wee hours this morning). And, a brand new month has started. I am walking like a zombie today due to lack of sleep but a friend whom I talked to this morning made me feel better. Whatever happens, it's part of God's plan.

I always believe that. It is just that sometimes, when you get disappointed, you cannot help but sulked a little. But, a few weeks or months after, you will see the whole picture. God let it happen so that another great thing will happen.

I haven't been scrapping lately (though I've been hording on the side hahaha)... I managed to create a simple wedding card for a colleague. Hopefully, the couple will like it!
