First Day

The very first day of schooling is like first day is the real world. She went to Nursery via bus hehehe at 3 years old. We were very scared (yet excited) so we talked to her about it. She has always been mature for her age. She didn't cry when she took the bus. Though later on she told me that she did shed a tear inside the classroom. I have always been proud of her. I just hope I can get it across her especially when I am scolding her about her school work hahaha

This layout was created using Elliot collection. Shaped the Alphabet Soup patterned paper then paper pieced the scissors, crayon ang bus.

Materials Used :

Scrap Within Reach Elliot Alphabet Soup, Scrap Within reach Elliot Buckwheat, Scrap Within Reach Elliot Building Blocks, Scrap Within Reach Elliot Popsicles, American Crafts Thickers Rockabye

it's a Girl!

Hold your horses! I am not pregnant nor I have given birth (I look like one though hehehe). This is an overdue birth announcement for Bebi A. I have long wanted to create one for "the album" and finally made one using Scrap Within Reach's Afternoon Tea collection. As Bebi A will probably say, "TA DA!!!"

Just a bit of reminiscing... During Dawter T's christening, we hand sewed 60 pcs of cloth diaper (small ones) then inserted the invitation card inside, with matching safety pins. That was what we gave out as invitations. It was a hit with our friends but my fingers were so numb after that hehehe

During Bebi A's, we hand-sewed bibs with pockets where we put the invitation cards.

Are we masochists or what? hehehe Both of those invitations were made with love. *wink*

Materials Used :

Scrap Within Reach Afternoon Tea Chantilly Cream, Scrap Within Reach Afternoon Tea Spiced Plum, Scrap Within Reach Afternoon Tea Raspberry Lace, Bazzil Pink Cardstock, Making Memories safety pin, KI stickers

Night Owls

This is probably the most unproductive month for me, scrapping wise. I have only created ONE, yes ~~~ uno, isa, ee... Been busy with guests, with birthdays and with Farmtown. Hahaha... I hope to create on the next few days.

Please join us at Scrapbook Challenges. This sketch was created by the fabulous Cathy!

These two girls can sleep very late. If we let them, they could watch tv and play computer all day long. Hahaha.

Today

I don't feel any different when I was 24. Haha.

Adding 10 years to that (yes I am now 34), I love life. I love being married. I love being a mom. I love being a sister, a friend, a worker, a scrapbooker. I love all my roles.

I am thankful that I've reached this age, healthy (too healthy, arghhhh), with family and friends on my side, to laugh with and enjoy what life has to offer.

Had a simple celebration which started yesterday hehehe we went to the zoo... And as Bebi A summed up, "This is so much fun!" Even Pre enjoyed the day. Though tired, there was this special glow that lingered as we turned in for the night.

Today, we went to church and had lunch. Then, capped the night with Mang Kiko's roasted pork and cake! I couldn't ask for more.

Thank you to my family and friends for making this really special! Turning 34 is not as scary as I thought it was! Hehehe.

Understatement of the Year

Being busy, that is! Terribly busy!

My total sleep for the past week was maybe 30 hours only. But, it was fun having people at home! Bebi A totally hit it off with the pretty A.

Had to plan meals, bring people around, worry if they are having a good time...

And, then, there's Pre's birthday!

The week was a blast! But, I hope to recover from being sleep deprived...

So, I guess, I can tell it here that I haven't been able to scrap. My last unfinished layout sitting on the computer table with nothing but matted pictures.

Oh, mojo, come back!

What a Day!

ABC 123 is POTW at Scrapbook Challenges! It really made my day! Though I woke up with just 4-5 hours of sleep. Bebi A had her asthma episodes so it was a sleepless night, checked her often to make sure she's ok. I took an urgent leave to bring her to the pedia. Then, went home afterwards.

I didn't touch my scrap supplies yesterday. I didn't open my office email. I didn't check my Blackberry. I only watched Season 1 of Private Practice and played Wii with Bebi A. I checked the web for spoilers for the upcoming season of Grey's and Private Practice. Then I cooked dinner. Nothing more, nothing less. I was trying to detress but come night time, I was anxious that my day of rest has come to an end and tomorrow's another day at the office.

But, an email from Mareng M this morning woke me up from laziness. Thanks, Mareng M!
