Zoo

The last layout that I had to complet for my daughter's ABC album. Oh, how I love the DCWV Nana papers, the color and the glittery papers are just so apt for kids' layouts. I've finally let go of the animal papers in the collection. It pained me to cut them but it's their time hehehe
This is also my entry for {Create}'s challenge which is about animal love. My daughters took after their father in this one. They are all fond of animals.

Good Times

This is a last minute entry at Laine's Red, White and Circle Stamp challenge. The picture was taken when we were wrapping up Bebi A's 1st birthday party. I can't believe that bald, thin little girl is now 3 years old and will probably weigh more than Dawter T in a few week's time. Dawter T is 3 years old then.

33

This is a scraplift from Sister C.

Last July 3, I wrote that I want to scrap an LO about me. It was at the back of my mind the whole month and it stayed there until last night. It may not be the exact sentiments but this is what I see myself this year --- the year I turned 33.

There were so many challenges that came and overpassed, there were a lot of adult decisions that was made and needs to be done this year. I thank the Lord for giving me and my family the strength and provisions.

Daddy's Day Out

This was taken at Marina Square when Ate A was in the Philippines. It was a happy family moment. We were there to watch Barney (Christmas special). One of the few pictures I managed to take before the battery ran out. And, in case you're wondering, the battery ran out during the show. Hahaha. I had to take photos using my phone.

I couldn't be more happier these days. I am scrapping Dawter T's birthday photos, woohoo! The challenges I've joined has given me lots of inspiration.

Loved the flowers I made, inspired by Elsie. I saw these flowers from her blog, the pictures were taken during CHA.

Good Times

This is for {Create}'s Earth Day challenge. What I reused was an old page from a desk calendar (see 2007 calendar). I really had fun creating this layout as I used Love, Elsie papers once again, Adorn It's stickers/patterned paper and of course, my beloved AC Thickers.
The photo was taken by Bebi A when we brought my relatives to Jurong Bird Park last March 18.

My Party

I've been itchin' to scrap since yesterday but my mommy duties has to come in first. The two girls slept early yesterdat which was a good thing for me because I managed to scrap this Lo using one of Lesli's sketch. I chose the third LO from the first row.

Hopefully, I did justice to it.

Sweet Baby

Two in a row of scallopped patterned papers in week. That's what I call an improvement haha Forgive me, but those patterned papers have been with me since last year but only this week did I manage to create something out of it.

So love the blues and browns on this layout. Plus, the Fancy Pants Large Purple Swirl transparency (is that the right term?)

I am hitting 2 birds in one stone here. Finishing this for Lia's Challenge in MWL plus I get to add another layout in Bebi A's album.

Daddy's Red Cap

My hubby wants to document this little fetish of Bebi A. My baby just loves her daddy's red cap. She will kiss it, bring it close to her and twist the tag while she's drinking milk. Actually, it started with other tags (her Tweety pillow tag, her Winnie the Pooh slippers tag) but it somehow found its way to Daddy's red cap. Whenever she's drinking milk, the red cap must be around her. There are times when I am already so sleepy but had to get up just to get this from the living room. Oh well. The Daddy's just so tickled with this obsession!

I used Love, Elsie papers and embellishments here (Zoe, Lola, Riley). I dooded the brick wall (loved it!), it has been a long time since I incorporated doodling in my layouts but my last two outputs have it. I guess it's because I am using my Love, Elsie papers and it goes well with that.

Journal :

I need my daddy's red cap when I am drinking my milky. I want to twist the tag, smell it and kiss it! Sometimes they give me the blue cap but it's not the same. I must have daddy's red cap!

Princess Hours

I was so happy when I thought of the title. Can you guess why? Haha. I've been following (every now and then) Korean telenovela since 2005. And, one of those series that I watched til my eyes dropped in the wee hours of the morning was "Princess Hours or Goong". I liked the pricess there which also stars in Coffee Prince hehe (another fave of mine!)

Anyway...

Eversince I did the layout for Bebi A, You are the Sunshine of my Life, Dawter kept bugging me to make one for her. She wanted to choose the papers that I will use, she actually wanted Love, Elsie's embossed paper, the one with the cupcake. But, I told her that her dress in the picture is too dark. Hmmm... So, I bargained that I will put the word "princess" in the layout. Haha. Princess is a very fitting title to my, erm, princess. And, I am the queen! Hahaha!

Kidding aside, she's one of our princesses. Though, I put the journal as such. My daughter though a little bossy sometimes to her younger sister, is a very good role model. She just love her sis to bits. She wants Bebi A to kiss and hug her, teaches her things (just this morning, she flashed animal cards to Bebi A and corrects Bebi A if she says the wrong animal name). And, she's very sweet, always concerned about your well-being. Sometimes, I find her too old for her young age. She never threw tantrums in public, though lately, at home, there's some defiance when I ask them to stop playing Wii or the computer. (She just can't seem to get enough, arghhhh.) I guess I can go on and on about her. Please bear with me, I am just a mother in love hehehe.

You Are The Sunshine Of My Life

The title is one of my favorite songs. And, for some reason, I have associated it with Bebi A --- because her smile just makes our day, that even though, we come home tired, just seeing her smiling just takes off the "hard" from the day's work. Not to mention that she looks so much like me! Haha!

Another reason that this layour is so precious to me is because of what happened while I was doing it. Bebi A saw that I was scrapping her picture and she squealed, "my picture, my picture!" I think she was so happy. She then added which makes me giddy until now, "Mommy,I want to kiss you!" Isn't she the sweetest?!

Materials Used :

PP : Love, Elsie Zoe Daydream, Stemma Citrus Paisley, SEI Granny's Kitchen Endearments/Suds, Heidi Grace Baby Girl/Decor Stripe

You & Me

I seemed to be doing a lot of flower/bird cut-outs lately. I tend to look for flower patterns like the above. Is this just a phase? Hehe. I love this Webster Pages' "Delight" paper from the Sweet Charity Collection. The color is refreshing.

I Want To Grow Old With You

This has become my fave layout to date because of the picture (I was still thin!!!) which was taken on Pre's birthday (Ninong Mah took this) at ECP, year 2001. This is one of our pre-nup pictures hehehe And, the title is one of our songs (by Adam Sandler) in our wedding video! Hehe!

Also, the moment I saw the Imaginisce Loves Me papers last Thursday, I knew that this is what I am going to use for this layout. I loved cutting the flowers (ermmmm during office hours yesterday --- the only thing that would have prevented me from taking leave hahaha so bad!)

Materials Used :

PP - Imaginisce Loves Me ---> So Happy Together, Weak in the Knees, Words Can't Express, Love is in the Air
AC Thickers Chipboard and Maddie Ann die cut fonts (thanks, Elvi!)
